Focusing on educational aspects, Ten Yad (which means reach out your hand), develops social, cultural, and recreational programs, which also determine the rights and responsibilities amongst the Assisted, the Volunteers and Employees, inside and outside the Institution.

Ten Yad has a Leisure Room that offers a schedule of diverse activities. Users stay there before and/or after lunch to participate of the activities or simply relax.

Volunteers supervise the several recreational activities programmed, monitoring their development and results.

Amongst the suggested activities, Ten Yad’s Users participate of bingo tournaments, games, film and video projections, musical presentations, reading, and storytelling.
